Our Upholstery Cleaning Services
Each piece gets a fabric check, a thorough vacuum, pre-treatment of marks and a hot water extraction clean. We're fully insured with public liability cover.
Refresh Your Fabric Furniture
Cleaning a good chair or bedhead costs far less than recovering or replacing it. We lift food and drink stains, hair, body oils and everyday grime, and deodorise pieces that have picked up pet or smoke smells.
Many customers book chairs with their other cleaning. As one put it, "now we get the rugs, chairs, sofa and the car seats done."
How We Clean Fabric Upholstery
- Check the fabric. We read the cleaning code on the tag (W, S, W/S or X) and test a hidden spot for colour run.
- Vacuum. Seams, buttons and piping hide grit and hair, so we work the upholstery tool into every edge.
- Pre-treat. Food marks, drink spills and the darker areas on arms and headrests get a product suited to the fabric and the stain.
- Hot water extraction. Hot water and a fabric-safe detergent loosen the dirt, and strong suction draws it back out.
- Deodorise and groom. Where there's an odour we deodorise, then brush the fabric so it dries evenly. Allow up to 24 hours for it to dry, with good airflow.

What types of upholstery do you clean?
Fabric dining chairs, armchairs, recliners, occasional chairs, bedheads, ottomans, footstools, cushions and office or cafe seating. For couches and lounge suites, see our couch cleaning page. We don't clean leather.
Can you clean an upholstered bedhead without removing it?
Yes. We clean bedheads where they are, protecting the wall and the bed around them. The fabric is left damp to the touch and can take up to 24 hours to dry.
How long does upholstery take to dry?
Allow up to 24 hours, depending on the fabric, padding thickness, airflow and the weather. Open windows or a fan will speed it up.
Do you clean commercial seating?
Yes. We clean office chairs, waiting room seating and cafe or restaurant booths, and we can work around your trading hours.
What if a stain doesn't come out?
Most everyday marks lift with the right pre-treatment. If we think a stain is set, we'll tell you before we start. If you're not happy with an area we've cleaned, we'll re-clean it at no extra charge.
