How We Clean Carpet in Mount Duneed Homes
Mount Duneed is on Geelong's southern edge, next to Armstrong Creek, and much of it is newer estates, many of them home to young families. The carpet here is often only a few years old, and it's the spills, muddy shoes and pets of a busy household that wear it down.
We've completed more than 290 jobs in Mount Duneed since 2021. We vacuum each room first, pre-treat the marks and traffic lanes, then clean with hot water extraction from our truck-mounted machine, or a portable unit where the hoses can't reach. Grooming the pile at the end helps it dry evenly, and drying can take up to 24 hours.
Carpet Cleaning for Busy Family Homes
Lounge rooms, hallways and the stairs in a two-storey home take the most foot traffic. We pre-treat those areas and any spills before the clean, so the whole carpet comes up evenly. If a room needs extra work, mention it when you book so we can plan the time.
Looking After New Carpet
New carpet stays looking new for longer when the soil is taken out before it builds up in the traffic lanes. Our guide on how often carpets should be cleaned explains what to look for.

Our Carpet Cleaning Services in Mount Duneed
The services we offer in Mount Duneed are listed below, with a short note on each.
Selling or Leasing in Mount Duneed
If your Mount Duneed home is going on the market or up for lease, book the carpet clean before the photographer and the first inspection. Moving out of a rental yourself? Our end of lease carpet cleaning page covers what Consumer Affairs Victoria says about carpet when a lease ends.
Couch, Rug and Pet Stain Cleaning in Mount Duneed
We can clean a fabric couch, a modular or an ottoman on the same visit, and wool and synthetic rugs too, right there in your home. We check the fabric or fibre first. Leather, viscose, jute and hand-knotted Persian rugs aren't something we clean.
With pet accidents, urine reaches the underlay below the carpet, which is why a spot can look clean and still smell. Our clean treats the odour as well as the mark. Read our couch cleaning, rug cleaning and pet stain and odour removal pages for the detail.
