Carpet Cleaning for Highton Homes and Stairs
Highton is an established suburb in Geelong's south-west, spread over the hills above the Barwon River, with Highton Village on Bellevue Avenue at its centre. Many homes here have been lived in for decades, and the carpet often has a history of its own: a worn path down the hall, a faded patch by a sunny window, and a stain nobody can quite explain.
We clean Highton carpets with hot water extraction, using a truck-mounted machine or a portable one for spots that are harder to reach. The carpet is vacuumed, pre-treated, cleaned and extracted, then groomed so it dries evenly, which can take up to 24 hours.
Carpet Cleaning for Every Room in Your Highton Home
Stairs, landings, upstairs bedrooms and the formal lounge that only gets used at Christmas all get the same careful clean. Tell us about any rooms that need extra attention when you book, and we'll allow time for them.

Why Choose Us for Your Carpet Cleaning Highton Needs
These are the things Highton households can count on when they book Wow Clean Carpets.
Locally Owned
Rodney Driessen owns Wow Clean Carpets and runs it from Breakwater. Being a local business means you can reach the people who did the job if you ever have a question afterwards.
20+ Years of Experience
Over 20 years we've cleaned carpet of every age and fibre, including older wool carpet that needs gentle products and careful drying.
Unmatched Customer Service
Several reviewers mention quick quotes and fair prices. Once you book, you'll receive a confirmation, a text 24 hours ahead and another when we're heading up the hill.
High Quality and Care
Older carpet gets milder products and a slower dry, and we keep children and pets off it until it's dry. If you aren't satisfied with an area, our re-clean guarantee means we'll clean it again at no extra charge.
We Clean Carpets Across Geelong
Highton's neighbours, including Belmont, Newtown and Waurn Ponds, are all in our regular area, and we cover the rest of Greater Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast too.

Our Suite of Carpet Cleaning Services in Highton
Below is a short note on each service we offer in Highton.
Getting a Highton Home Ready for Sale
If you're preparing a Highton home for sale, a carpet clean is one of the simpler ways to make rooms look cared for in photos and at inspections. Book it after the painters have finished and before the photographer arrives, and leave enough time for the carpet to dry.
Couch and Rug Cleaning in Highton
An older fabric lounge suite or a favourite wool rug often comes up far better than people expect. We clean fabric couches, modulars and ottomans, and wool and synthetic rugs, after checking the fabric or fibre first. Leather, viscose, jute and hand-knotted Persian rugs are outside what we take on, and we'll say so before we start.
Our couch cleaning and rug cleaning pages have the full detail.
Caring for Older Wool Carpet
Many established homes still have wool carpet. It resists stains well, though it dislikes heat, harsh alkaline cleaners and staying wet for long. Between cleans, vacuum weekly, blot spills with cold water and a white cloth, and keep hard-surface sprays off it. Our guide on cleaning a wool rug uses the same principles and works for carpet spills too.
Highton Carpet Cleaning FAQs
Can you clean carpet on stairs?
Yes. Stairs and landings are included whenever you book them. Tell us how many flights there are when you ask for a quote.
My carpet is old. Is it worth cleaning?
Usually, yes. A clean removes the oily soil that makes older carpet look grey, and it often lifts marks you'd given up on. Worn or faded fibres won't come back, so we'll tell you honestly what to expect.
How soon can you come to Highton?
Give us a call on 0418 120 387. We work Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 7pm, and we'll offer you the next available time.
Do you clean for real estate agents and landlords?
Yes. We clean for Geelong agents and property managers, collect keys when needed, and email receipts straight to the agent.
