Charlemont is one of Geelong's newest suburbs. It was created in 2012 as part of the Armstrong Creek growth area, from land that had been part of Grovedale and Marshall, and most of its homes have been built since. We've completed more than 120 jobs in Charlemont since 2021, and 2026 is already our busiest year here.
Every carpet is cleaned by hot water extraction: vacuumed, pre-treated, cleaned and extracted with a truck-mounted machine, or a portable one where the hoses can't reach, then groomed so it dries evenly. Allow up to 24 hours for it to dry.

Looking After Carpet in a Newer Home
Newer carpet still collects oily soil from shoes and skin, and it shows first in hallways, doorways and the path to the couch. A regular hot water extraction clean rinses that film out before it dulls the colour. Add the Lounge to Your Booking
About a quarter of our Charlemont bookings add a couch or other upholstery, and the big modular lounges in newer homes are a regular job for us. Fabric is tested first, then cleaned and extracted on the same visit as your carpet. We clean fabric upholstery and wool or synthetic rugs. Leather, and viscose, jute or hand-knotted Persian rugs, are best left to a specialist.

Allow up to 24 hours. Most of the water is extracted during the clean, and open windows or a fan speed up the rest.

What if I'm at work on the day?
That's fine. Let us know when you book and we'll arrange access with you. Pay afterwards with the payment link in our emailed invoice.
