What We Don't Do
- Timber floorboards, laminate or hybrid floors.
- Stripping, sealing, polishing or buffing. We clean the floor and leave its finish as it is.
- Outdoor concrete, such as paths and driveways, and pressure washing.
How We Clean Hard Floors
- Check the floor. We look at the type of floor and the condition of its finish, and point out any wear or damage before we start.
- Sweep and prepare. Loose dirt is removed, and nearby carpet, skirting and furniture are protected.
- Apply a cleaning solution. It sits on the floor long enough to loosen grease and built-up grime.
- Clean and recover. Most floors are cleaned with our truck-mounted machine, which lifts the dirty water straight back off the floor. Sometimes we use a floor scrubber as well.
- Dry and check. We check the result with you. Allow 2 hours for the floor to dry before you walk on it as normal.

Looking After Hard Floors Between Cleans
- Put mats at the entrances. A lot of the grit that dulls a floor comes in on shoes.
- Sweep or vacuum before you mop, so the mop doesn't drag grit across the surface.
- Use a pH-neutral floor cleaner and wring the mop well. Too much water can seep into the joins.
- Change the mop water often. Dirty water leaves the film that makes a floor look grey.
- Wipe up spills quickly, and put felt pads under chair and table legs to prevent scratches.
