As Wow Clean carpets use hot water extraction to effectively clean carpets they will feel slightly damp for a short while after your carpet clean. As most of the water has been drawn from the carpet during the cleaning process and there is just residual damp they will dry quite quickly, but you can speed up the drying process by having good ventilation with open windows and doors where possible, or having a fan going.
To ensure the best possible and consistent cleaning results move chairs, side tables and any easily moved furniture off carpets and rugs where possible. Larger furniture that cannot be easily moved, such as beds can be worked around and under with the equipment. If you are physically unable to move the furniture yourself, please let us know and we’d be happy to assist. If you are vacating the property and are cleaning for new tenants or owners it is best for all furniture and items to be removed from carpeted rooms to ensure an optimal clean.
It is best to allow the carpets to be fully dry before returning items to carpeted areas. This is especially important for stained timber furniture or metal items as they may stain the carpet if put back whilst still damp. If leaving them off is not possible, plastic slips to place between furniture and carpet are available for no extra charge on request.
We understand it is often difficult to book around work and other commitments and we are always happy to try and work around you. We can collect keys from your real estate agent, then return them when job is complete, and we can often also collect from a different local address or work place in many instances. Please give us a call and we’ll work out plan that best suits you.
We have a mobile EFTPOS machine available to take payments at your residence at completion of job, we also offer stripe payments for customers who will not be present on the day to pay upfront. We are happy to accept cash payments or you can pay via bank transfer - bank details will be provided on our invoice which will be emailed to you. Payment is to be made on the day of completion of the job, if you wont be present on the day, we ask that you pay upfront via stripe payment. Receipts can be provided to you via email, or directly to your real estate agent as proof of completion.
Yes, if you have lift access in the apartment building we can generally access with a portable machine. Please advise when booking so we can ensure the correct equipment is on board for your job.
We will email a confirmation once your job has been booked in with us and you will also receive both an SMS and email reminder the day before your scheduled appointment. You will also receive an SMS notification when our team is on their way to your address. Please note that notifications may come from our scheduling software ServiceM8. Your information is kept private and is only used for booking purposes with Wow and is not shared with any other parties or used for any other purpose.
